STARTING NOVEMBER 12TH

BEER PONG, also known as Beirut, is a drinking game in which players throw a ping-pong ball across a table with the intent of landing the ball in a cup of beer on the other end. The game typically consists of two two-to-four-player teams and multiple cups set up on each side set up in triangle formation. There are no official rules, so rules may vary widely, though usually there are six or ten plastic cups arranged in a triangle on each side.Beer Pong will now be on Fridays starting Nov 12th @ 9pm. $20 gets you all-u-can-drink draft beer til game is over!

CALLING ALL HUSKERS!!!

 

Dear South Florida Huskers,

It was another great turnout for last Saturday’s watch party. This Saturday’s watch party is against Iowa State at 3:30 pm. ABC will carry the game regionally and it will be a last minute decision on whether it will be locally shown. CJ’s Drafthouse will have the game along with cabbage s...andwiches, Elk Creeks and red beer.

On Saturday, we made the official announcement that we have enough funding to start The South Florida Huskers Scholarship Fund through the University of Nebraska Foundation. This scholarship would not have been possible without the support of everyone the past four years. This scholarship will be offered to residents of the South Florida area initially and then preference to other residents in the state that choose to go to the University of Nebraska. Once the University of Nebraska Foundation receives our signed documents, we will have a direct website link for anyone wishing to make a contribution to our scholarship fund. Stay tuned for future updates in these emails and on our website.
